With direct access to scenic trails and countryside walks right from our doorstep, our tranquil setting on the edge of Stratford-upon-Avon is the perfect base for exploring the great outdoors together.

Paws Are Always Welcome at The Welcombe
We’re pleased to welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs to The Welcombe Hotel. Dogs are part of the family, after all. Guests are welcome to bring up to two dogs per room (size permitting), with a supplementary charge of £35 per dog, per stay.
To ensure the smoothest stay, we kindly ask that all dog bookings are made in advance so we can prepare for your pup’s arrival.
Dogs are welcome in many of our public areas, including the Trevelyan Bar, our outdoor terrace and gardens. However, we do ask that dogs remain on leads when indoors or exploring the grounds, and kindly note that The Restaurant, Golf Course and Spa are pet-free spaces.
If your dog is left unattended in your room, our housekeeping team will not enter for safety and comfort. This may affect services such as stay-over cleans and turndown.
We kindly ask all owners to be mindful of their dog’s behaviour, pick up after them, and help us keep rooms in tip-top shape for the next four-legged visitor. Waste bags are available from Housekeeping, and designated bins can be found across the grounds.

Spacious Grounds: We provide ample space for your dog to roam and play on our grounds. All that we ask is that you keep your dog on the lead to avoid any accidents on the golf course!

Yummy Treats: The Trevelyan Bar offers complimentary dog-friendly treats and Sir Woofchester’s meals. They deserve a delicious dining experience too!

Doggie Welcome: Inside your room upon arrival, you will find a Sir Woofchester’s welcome pack featuring treats, a toy and poop bags, housed in a reusable box – perfect as a water bowl on the go during your travels!
