Anne
Hathaway's Cottage
Discover the birthplace of William Shakespeare’s wife, Anne Hathaway. This delightful Tudor farmhouse is now open to the public as a museum, where much of the originality remains. Just 10 minutes’ drive away from our hotel, the cottage is surrounded by gardens with a sculpture trail inspired by Shakespeare’s plays, and is not to be missed!
Relax by the
River Avon
A truly peaceful spot to enjoy a picnic in the gardens as you admire the River Avon. Choose from many scenic spots, from Bancroft Gardens or the Recreation Grounds and feed the swans on the river’s edge whilst enjoying the surroundings now that Spring has sprung. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even hire a row boat or take a river cruise with one of Stratford-upon-Avon’s many boating services.
